The REG102GA-2.5 is a DMOS 250mA Low-Dropout Regulator. It provides significant improvement over previous designs, including low-dropout voltage (only 150mV typ at full load), and better transient performance. In addition, no output capacitor of the REG102GA-2.5 is required for stability, unlike conventional low-dropout regulators that are difficult to compensate and require expensive low ESR capacitors greater than 1μF. The applications of the REG102GA-2.5 include: (1)portable communication devices; (2)battery-powered equipment; (3)personal digital assistants; (4)modems; (5)bar-code scanners; (6)backup power supplies.
